Calculate your new strap length

Measure your current strap from adjuster to attachment point.

How to Measure Your Strap Correctly

  1. Put the bra on and check where the strap currently sits on your shoulder.
  2. Measure from the plastic slider/adjuster down to where the strap attaches to the cup or back band.
  3. Decide whether it needs to shorten (strap is loose, digging in from over-tightening) or lengthen (strap is too tight, band riding up in back).
  4. Enter the amount even 0.5" (1-1.5cm) makes a noticeable difference in comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do both straps need to match exactly?

Uneven straps cause the band to sit crooked and one cup to gape or ride low always adjust both sides by the same amount.

How much can I safely shorten a strap?

Most adjusters have a limited range if you're near the top of the slider already, consider a band size change instead.

My straps keep slipping even at the shortest setting what now?

That usually points to a band that's too big rather than a strap problem check your band size first.
